The Stephen A. Ross, Jr. Scholarship is a fitting tribute to a young scholar whose life was cut tragically short. Stephen was a remarkable young man with a passion for learning, a strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to personal integrity. His life inspired love and respect in everyone he came in contact with, and his memory continues to inspire others to pursue their academic ambitions with dedication and purpose.
The purpose of the Stephen A. Ross, Jr. Scholarship is to provide financial support to deserving high school graduates or students already enrolled in continuing their academic education in either a 2-year or 4-year higher education institution at a community college or university. This scholarship will be awarded annually to students who live in the state of Pennsylvania or in the Metropolitan District of Columbia (DMV) area.
The purpose of the Stephen A. Ross, Jr. Scholarship is to provide financial support to deserving high school graduates or students already enrolled in continuing their academic education in either a 2-year or 4-year higher education institution at a community college or university. This scholarship will be awarded annually to students who live in the state of Pennsylvania or in the Metropolitan District of Columbia (DMV) area.
To be considered for the Stephen A. Ross, Jr. Scholarship, applicants must be in good standing within their area of study, carry a minimum of 12.0 credit hours of study, and maintain a 3.0 GPA or better. The scholarship may be awarded to an incoming freshman; provided they have been accepted in the appropriate department and their high school credentials meet the required GPA minimum. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States, have earned a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), and have not previously earned a bachelor’s degree.
